Margallo' (we pronounce it Malgaglio') is in Alghero language of catalan origin, the dwarf palm which grows spontaneously in the territory around the vineyard.
Margallo' well matches tasty dishes in general, and in particular with red meat, game and medium-mature cheese. We recommend opening the bottle one hour before pouring in order to enjoy at best the full bouquet.

Alghero - Sardinia, Italy
Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and very hot summers. Rainfall is rather scarce and concentrated in winter and autumn. Windiness is frequent, especially from North West.
Intense and complex - Flowery, fruity, herbaceous, slightly spicy and with particular balsamic notes of field balm. Among fruits that are red and mature, cherries stand out. Among spices prevails the aroma of black pepper. These fragrances are accompanied by delicate herbaceous notes typical of vines with mixed grapes.
Warm, full and velvety. Excellent structure and taste-olfactory persistence.
